Gen. Georges Saker
Brigadier General Georges Sakr a highly accomplished officer with over 35 years of dedicated service in the Lebanese armed forces mostly in the Lebanese army special forces Ranger regiment. Currently holds the Deputy chief of staff for planning in the Lebanese Army with extensive military leadership experience, including roles as a platoon leader, company commander , chief of operations at Ranger regiment, intervention regiment commander and the Military Academy commander.
- He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and a Master’sdegree in Corporate Communication from Lebanese University.
- Currently enrolled in a DBA program at ESA-IAE (Nice), his thesis focuses on AI governance in military and security contexts, particularly in Lebanon and the MENA region.
- His publications include a research on the impact of artificial intelligence on military and security in the MENA, published by Palgrave Macmillan in February2025.
-BG. Sakr is multilingual, fluent in Arabic, French, and English, with proficiency in Spanish and average skills in German.
