Anthony Sfeir is the Chief Information & Digital Officer at Mersaco, where he directs the group’s technology strategy, digital transformation agenda, and enterprise-wide IT operations. With more than two decades of experience across healthcare, banking, and technology, he has successfully led large-scale initiatives in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and business process re-engineering.

At Mersaco, Anthony spearheaded multiple digital transformation projects, including the revamp of ERP infrastructure, the deployment of hybrid on-premise/cloud solutions, and the design of new customer platforms that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. He has also introduced robust information security frameworks and governance models, ensuring compliance with international standards while enabling innovation in sensitive industries like healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Before joining Mersaco, Anthony held senior leadership positions across the Middle East and Europe, including serving as Group Head of IT at Gulf One Investment Bank in Bahrain. His earlier career spans roles in IT systems integration, business development, and technology leadership, giving him a broad perspective on how digital innovation drives organizational growth and resilience.

Anthony holds an MBA in Management of Information Technology from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from Intercollege, Cyprus. He is passionate about harnessing emerging technologies—particularly AI—to create sustainable impact in healthcare, improve patient outcomes, and build future-ready organizations.
